Genuine inner kudu horn with silver tip detail.

The Kudu male antelope has huge, magnificent curved horns – which can grow to almost a meter, on a fully mature male. These antelope are prolific breeders and the horns are only taken from males that have died from natural causes, or have been killed by predators eg. Lions.

The horn is made up of a shiny brown outer horn, and  an  inner white bone, which is a rich creamy  colour.

Mature males use their horns as fighting weapons, during the mating season, to impress and win over a female.
